The Private Pilot certificate consists of three milestones
- The FAA Private Pilot written exam
- Flight training and ground school
- The ‘Checkride’ which is the final test consisting of part oral exam and part flight skills assessment conducted by an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE).
The time it takes to achieve this certificate is based on several factors, but most importantly how aggressively you train and study. We have students that have achieved this milestone in as little as twelve weeks up to more than one year under Part 61.
Students training under Part 141 who are full-time dedicated students can complete this certificate in as little as eight weeks.
